The wonderful natural world in which we live favoured the industrial development of the foundry in the XVIII century, and then the trip hammer. Unfortunately, it began to decline from the last third of the last century. Fortunately, the Mazonovo´s trip hammer in Santa Eulalia de Oscos was rehabilitated, and luckily a great craftsman master "Friedrich Bramsteidl" came to this place to work in it.
With this escapade, you will discover the operation and the work that is done with the blacksmith's trip hammer. In addition, you will have the chance to forge a nail by yourself. Then, the exquisite special blacksmith´s menu will be tasted in the Mesón L'Auga, just 50 m from the place, in an environment of incomparable nature in its pure state.
